Congratulations to Directr!

We’re excited to share the news that Google’s YouTube unit has acquired Directr as part of Google’s latest effort to add tools for small businesses. Directr, a Boston-based mobile-video app used by small businesses to create marketing videos, received funding from Launch Angels’ Where Fund earlier this year. Here’s a brief insight from Launch Angels CEO, Shereen Shermak regarding the deal and exit:

The Launch Angels Investment Committee selected Directr in its Where Fund in part due to the strength of the team and the overall market opportunity. We’re really excited about this acquisition for the Directr Team and also happy to see the return for our Where Fund investors.
