University Fund for Boston College – Investor Breakfast

Monday, December 8th, 2014

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Boston, MA

Alumni of Boston College are partnering with Launch Angels to create a unique venture capital fund to support early stage companies with significant connection(s) to Boston College. The Fund will provide a vehicle for alumni and other supporters of the school to support the growing startup culture around Boston College, and will help foster the next generation of entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and university donors. Join Managing Director Kevin Cook, ‘04, and Launch Angels CEO Shereen Shermak to talk about how you can invest in the Fund, become a member of the Advisory Investment Committee, or support the creation of the Fund in other ways. Space is limited so we request that interested persons RSVP.
* The term “accredited investor” is defined by the SEC, see:  http://www.sec.gov/answers/accred.htm. ** The Fund expects to begin investing in early 2015 and will begin actively soliciting potential investments at that time. If you would like to submit a company to the pipeline before it begins soliciting investments, please send an email to Launch Angels with the subject line “[Fund for Boston College] Potential investment in startup name”. The Launch Angels University Fund for Boston College Alumni is an independent, for-profit company. It is not affiliated with, nor officially sanctioned by, Boston College.
