Launch Angels is excited to announce three new additions to its VentureOut Fund’s Investment and Advisory Team: Walter Burr, Dan Katzir and Steven Nakisher.
The VentureOut Fund will leverage the power of the LGBT community to source opportunities and provide high-quality LGBT-led deal flow.
Additionally, the fund will support LGBT entrepreneurs by connecting them to resources and mentors who can provide senior-level counsel and advice.
- Advisor: Walter Burr is the Managing Partner of the Accelerated Companies Fund and an experienced advisor to startup companies.
- Investment Committee Member: Dan Katzir is a senior advisor to The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation and a lecturer at Stanford School of Business. In his role as an Investment Committee member, Mr. Katzir will also be part of the team that reviews and decides on investments.
- Advisor: Dr. Steven Nakisher is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and entrepreneur. Within the past year, Steven launched PicTricks, an online photo editing service, as well as Bellwether Creation Company, a software development firm.
